A leading manufacturing firm in Singapore is seeking an Environmental Manager to ensure compliance with environmental and health regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, certifications in WSHO and Fire Safety Manager, and 6 to 8 years of relevant experience. Job Descriptions

• Establish and maintain the company’s Environmental Management System (EMS) and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) framework in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

• Manage ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 systems within the organization.

• Maintain international standards and certifications (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001), including audits and certification.

• Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, SOPs, emergency response plans, fire safety plans, and work-method statements.

• Ensure adherence to Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health Act, NEA, SCDF, and related regulations.

• Oversee the handling, storage, disposal, and reporting of hazardous materials and waste, ensuring environmental compliance where applicable

• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure regulatory and corporate compliance.

• Monitor EHS performance through KPIs, maintain records, and generate reports for management and compliance purposes.

• Review incident trends, recommend corrective actions, and update EHS systems and processes accordingly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or other relevant fields.

• Certified in WSHO (Workplace Safety and Health Officer) and Fire Safety Manager.

• 6 to 8 years of relevant working experience.

• Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH Act, subsidiary regulations, Codes of Practice, SCDF fire safety requirements, and NEA environmental regulations.

• Hands‑on experience managing ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems.
