Job summary

A chemical industry company in Singapore seeks an EHS Coordinator to support compliance with safety standards such as SS506, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 14001. The role includes conducting HSE inspections, implementing training programs, and managing safety-related functions. Candidates should have a Diploma in Engineering and relevant safety certifications. Strong experience in the petrochemical/chemical industry is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Min Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years relevant experience preferably in petrochemicals/chemical industry.
  • Other related safety certifications.

Job description

EHS Coordinator (SS506/OHSAS 18001/ISO 14001/Chemicals Plant)

Responsibilities:

  • Support standard compliance of SS506: Part 3, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 initiatives.
  • Implement, coordinates and deliver safety related training programs
  • Supervises HSE functions on plant operations and processes
  • Implement and coordinate with contractors on compliance with plant safety rules and regulations
  • Conduct regular HSE inspections and report unsafe act and conditions
  • Assist with incident and accident investigation and provide recommendation and/or mitigation measures
  • Assist with the monthly and quarterly reporting of HSE metrics (KPI)
  • Support the HSE Manager with regulatory agencies as required maintaining compliance with all applicable standards
  • Assist with the training competencies of emergency response teams
  • Management of security system and resources
  • Support and realize the Company's HSE key performance indicators, goals and objectives
  • Ensure all HSE – related safety equipment and PPE are in order and properly maintained
  • Carry out any HSE related functions/duties and processes as directed by superior

Requirements:
