Job summary

NCS is a leading AI Tech Services company with a large APAC footprint. This role focuses on pre-sales support and solution design for cybersecurity across cloud, network and OT domains, including mega tenders and executive engagements.

You will be the trusted advisor to clients, translating complex security architectures into business value and leading design efforts from discovery through to costed proposals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Security Presales Consultant (or equivalent).
• Singapore Citizen only due to project sensitivity.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing cybersecurity solutions across multiple domains (app, data, cloud, network, IAM, PAM).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in solution and bid reviews for completeness, feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead initial solution design, project planning and costing for client proposals.
• Gather complex requirements through client workshops and presentations.
• Design security solutions spanning application, network, cloud ICT and OT components.
• Engage with C-level executives to address cybersecurity needs and drive adoption.

Pre-Sales Support and Solution Design

• Assist in solution and bid reviews to ensure completeness, feasibility, and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead initial solution design, project planning, and costing for client proposals.
• Undertake complex requirements gathering, client workshops, and presentations.
• Design sophisticated security solutions integrating application, network, cloud ICT, and OT components.
• Provide expertise and guidance in strategic and mega tenders as the Solution Manager and single point of contact for cybersecurity solutions.

Client Engagement and Consulting

• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients through regular communication, on-site meetings, and executive briefings.
• Act as a trusted advisor to help clients integrate cybersecurity capabilities into their environments.
• Engage with C-level executives to identify and address domain-specific cybersecurity needs.
• Deliver proactive technical guidance to clients to drive cybersecurity operational excellence.
• Influence clients' cybersecurity postures by contributing to in-flight projects and leading innovation initiatives.

Expertise Development and Industry Awareness

• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity technologies, regulatory frameworks, and industry trends.
• Support ongoing client requirements related to regulatory compliance (e.g., IM8, AIAS, CSA Security by Design, MAS TRM).
• Participate in trade shows and conferences as a senior technical resource
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in cyber security solutions and technologies.

Securing AI systems

• Understand enterprise AI architectures—including LLMs, RAG, vector databases, AI agents, orchestration frameworks, and MCP integrations and assess risks such as prompt injection, data leakage, insecure outputs, excessive agency, tool misuse, retrieval poisoning, and supply chain compromise.
• Design AI security controls spanning gateways, runtime protection, model scanning, posture management, and monitoring; enforce least privilege across agent identities, tools, and downstream systems through scoped authorisation, tool allowlists, sandboxing, human approvals, audit trails, and emergency shutdown mechanisms.
• Extensive experience (5+ years) as a Security Presales Consultant
• Due to project sensitivity, we can only consider Singapore Citizen
• Presales experience in designing and architecting comprehensive cybersecurity solutions that involve at least two or more cybersecurity domains, such as:
  • Application Security
  • Database Security
  • Regulatory Compliance

  • Privileged Access Management
  • Cloud Security
  • Endpoint Security
  • Incident Response and Managed Security Services
  • Infrastructure and Network Security
  • DevSecOps
  • Zero Trust Security
• Experience in designing and architecting comprehensive cybersecurity solutions, including Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity and Access Management (IAM), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Data Access Management (DAM), Secure Service Edge (SSE), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Endpoint Security, and Network Security, ensuring robust protection against evolving threats.
• Familiarity with cloud-based solutions (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and best practices for security, resilience, and recovery.
• Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, PKI, and authentication/authorization frameworks.
• Experience implementing SIEM/SOAR tools and conducting database configurations and basic queries.
• Ability to translate complex security solutions into business value propositions
• Knowledge of WAN, IoT/Video, Kubernetes, and containerized applications is advantageous.
• Previous experience with government tenders and Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC).
• Experience working with security practitioners, network, application, and database operations personnel.
• Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP, GCIA) are highly desirable.
• Experience working in client-serving/project-based models
