Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS / IT / Data Science / Eng or related field.
• Solid SQL and Python skills.
• Knowledge of databases and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.

• Good communication and teamwork.
• Be locally resident in Singapore (SG Citizen or SPR).

We are looking for a motivated Junior Data Engineer to join our Data & AI team. You will work with experienced engineers, architects, and data scientists to build and maintain data pipelines, data platforms, and analytics solutions that support business and AI initiatives.

• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Build and support data integration from databases, APIs, and files.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data preparation, processing and reporting.
• Assist in managing data platforms, data lakes, and data warehouses.
• Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot data quality issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and project teams.
• Support CI/CD, automation, and cloud data platform activities.

Qualifications

Must Have

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Understanding of databases and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Local residential status in Singapore, i.e. SG Citizen or SPR.

Good to Have

• Exposure to ETL/ELT concepts and tools.
• Knowledge of one cloud or data platform, e.g. Azure, AWS, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Cloudera, or other similar cloud/data platform.
• Some understanding of Apache Spark, Kafka, or data pipeline technologies.
• Experience with Git and Agile development practices.
• Experience of using state-of-the‑art AI tool to increase productivity for software development
