Job summary

NCS, a leading technology solutions provider in Singapore, is seeking a Data Solution Architect to lead senior, client-facing architectural efforts across cloud and hybrid environments for government and agency programs.

The role emphasizes translating complex requirements into secure, scalable data architectures, driving governance, and delivering end-to-end data solutions. Strong stakeholder communication and a deep understanding of public sector constraints are key.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT, with strong experience in data architecture and solution design.
• Hands‑on knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure GCC), RDBMS, data warehouses, and analytics platforms.
• Strong understanding of public sector delivery, procurement constraints, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data solution architecture across data ingestion, storage, processing, analytics, and reporting within GCC/GCC+ environments.
• Translate business and policy requirements into technical architectures aligned with IM8, AIAS, PDPA, and agency security standards.
• Define solution blueprints, integration patterns, and non-functional requirements (performance, security, scalability).
• Provide architectural governance, design assurance, and technical decision leadership across delivery teams.
• Present solution roadmaps and design options to senior government stakeholders and steer design sign-offs.
• Work closely with project managers, platform architects, and data engineering teams to ensure delivery alignment.

What will you do?
