Job description

Vice President of Operations (MedTech) - M.LEE

Our client is a leading medtech company focused on medical devices. We deliver innovative solutions that connect patients and providers for better health outcomes.

We are looking for a Vice President of Operations to lead our operations strategy and execution across APAC and US markets. This role requires a strong background in healthcare or medtech operations, supply chain management, and IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage daily operations across APAC and US regions.

  • Lead cross-functional hardware, software, IT, and support teams.

  • Oversee supply chain and logistics, including inventory, costs, repairs, and demand forecasting.

  • Manage customer feedback, usability testing, and coordination with the product team.

  • Manage cloud infrastructure, including server maintenance, updates, security scans, and uptime reporting.

  • Oversee internal IT systems and ensure service levels are maintained.

  • Manage 1st and 2nd line customer support operations.

  • Conduct device demos and interface with patients and healthcare stakeholders.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance under QMS and ISMS standards.

  • Support QA/RA activities and user acceptance testing (UAT).

  • Lead development of internal tools to enhance logistics and workflow efficiency.

  • Collaborate with product, QA/RA, and external teams across global markets.

  • Support execution and documentation of clinical trials.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field

  • 5+ years’ experience in healthcare operations and regulatory compliance in a regional/global environment

  • Proven experience in medical device manufacturing, supply chain, and IT/cloud infrastructure.

  • Strong leadership background in managing operational teams.

  • Familiarity with the healthcare sector in APAC.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.

  • Self-driven with the ability to influence and manage across teams.

  • Willingness to work across time zones and travel or relocate as needed.
