Binance, a leading global blockchain ecosystem, seeks an EDD specialist to perform enhanced due diligence reviews for high-risk customers and provide AML/CFT expertise across regions. The role involves risk assessments, policy drafting, and training, coordinating with overseas partners in English and Mandarin.

The position requires 3+ years in EDD, ACAMS/ACFCS or similar certification, and strong knowledge of global CDD/EDD standards, sanctions risks, and licensing requirements related to crypto

Qualifications

• 3+ years of EDD experience.
• ACAMS, ACFCS or other industry leading certification.
• Bilingual English/Mandarin to coordinate with overseas partners/stakeholders.
• Knowledge of global CDD/EDD requirements.
• Deep understanding of AML/CFT and sanctions risks.
• Knowledge of global licensing requirements related to financial services and crypto activities.
• Experience with complex beneficial ownership structures.
• Excellent communication, analytical, writing and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete EDD reviews for high-risk customers.
• Assess high-risk customer transaction activity for business alignment.
• Conduct risk assessments on new and existing customers.
• Lead projects related to EDD enhancements.
• Stay current on FATF and local EDD requirements.
• Provide AML/CFT subject matter expertise.
• Manage high-risk customer escalations from first line of defence.
• Draft policies, programs, procedures, guidance and impact analyses.
• Train other employees in related areas.
