Job summary

Recruit Express is seeking an Emergency Department trained senior or staff nurse for the West Hospital ED in Singapore. The role focuses on triage, focused assessments, and rapid bedside care in a high‑acuity setting.

The candidate must hold a Diploma or Degree in Nursing with a valid Singapore Nursing Board license and have 2–3 years of ED experience. Up to SGD 6,000 monthly is offered, with application via [e-mail].

Qualifications

• Min 2–3 years ED experience.
• Diploma or Degree in Nursing with a valid Singapore Nursing Board license.

Responsibilities

• Triage each patient and determine priority of care based on assessment of physical, psychological and social needs.
• Perform focused patient assessment of chief complaint, medical history and medications to ascertain history and condition.
• Provide safe, patient education care whilst observing patient comfort.
• Monitor patient assessments at regular intervals and document care and assessments.
• Assist clinicians during physical examinations, diagnostic testing and treatments.
• Initiate corrective action when patient’s condition or monitoring data shows adverse changes.
• Assist with CPR and other emergency treatment and stabilise patients’ condition with the physician.
• Keep patient and NOK informed of care/treatment at appropriate stages of stay in the ED.
• Liaise with other units if admission or further treatment is required.
• Accompany critically ill or emergency patients to other hospitals.
