Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Ecommerce Executive with 5-6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supplier evaluation and negotiation, managing procurement activities, and ensuring effective inventory control in alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Evaluation and Negotiation
Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms for products, ensuring cost-effective procurement without compromising quality.
Analyze market trends and supplier performance to continuously improve procurement strategies.
- Supplier Relationship Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and timely procurement.
Regularly communicate with suppliers to resolve any issues or concerns, ensuring consistent service levels and reliable supply chains.
- Purchase Order Management
Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of products.
Follow up with suppliers to ensure adherence to delivery timelines and quality standards.
- Inventory Coordination
Work closely with the inventory control team to ensure stock levels are maintained according to business requirements.
Forecast inventory needs based on sales data and trends, optimizing stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
- Performance Monitoring
Track and analyze sales data, inventory trends, and supplier performance to provide actionable insights for improving procurement and inventory decisions.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure effective product promotions and visibility on ecommerce platforms.
- Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution
Address and resolve any supply chain or product-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Reporting and Documentation
Prepare regular reports on product performance, stock levels, and supplier performance.
Maintain accurate records of all purchase orders, inventory levels, and supplier agreements.
Requirements:
- 5-6 years of experience in ecommerce, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Shopee, Lazada, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Experience with inventory management software and tools.
