As an Assistant Manager (WSH &Fire Safety - Healthcare), you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Oversee and manage the operations of the department

  • Ensure a robust workplace safety and fire safety systems are in placed

  • Ensure compliance to all related regulatory requirements, audits, incident reportings, follow ups, trainings and managmentn reviews

  • Assist and work closely with the Senior Manager of the department

  • Ensure proper storage and management of hazardous substances

  • Perform fire drills, hazards identification, risk assessment, incident reprting, trend analysis, follow up and management review

  • Perform secretariate and chief co-ordinator role for the organizattion's workplace and Fire Safety Committee

  • Review safety incidents, update, provide recommendations to senior management as required.

  • Work closely with facilities manager, ensure contractors’ compliance to the house rules and Permit-To-Work process, including adequate risk assessment and controls are in place before and during works.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Facilities Management or related field

  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience

  • Preferably MOM Licensed Workplace Safety & Health Officer / SCDF Certified Senior/Fire Safety Manager / NEA Licensed Environmental Control Officer (Preferred)
