Cognita Schools in Singapore is seeking an Early Years Teacher Assistant to support classroom learning during a maternity cover from January to June 2027. You will work closely with lead teachers to nurture curious, young learners and foster a warm, inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements include a Diploma in Early Childhood, at least two years of experience with 2–5-year-olds, strong English communication, and international experience is valued.

PositionRequirements:

• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Patience in dealing with students and parents
• Sound organisational and time management skills
• Nurturing manner and ability to show compassion and care with small children
• Minimal IT skills

Qualifications:

• A minimum Diploma in Early Childhood or similar
• A minimum of 2 years experience in working with small children (aged2-5) in a school or day care environment
• International experience highly regarded
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• Further qualifications in Early Childhood would be an advantage.
• This is a maternity cover position from 11 January 2027 to 11 June 2027.
