Job Role & Responsibilities

  • Plan and carry out the daily programme, developmental and care-giving tasks as assigned
  • Attend to the health, hygiene and safety needs of the infants
  • Create a safe environment and provide the best possible care to infants under their care
  • Build and maintain good rapport with parents

Job Requirements

  • Obtained at least a Certificate in Infant/Toddler Care and Development, or Fundamentals Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (with certificate in Infant/Toddler Care) or its equivalent
  • First Aid Certificate recognized by ECDA
  • Minimum 2 years experience in similar setting
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Conduct activities to promote children’s learning and development such as reading, singing and interaction.
  • Ensure and document infant developmental milestones
  • Provide custodial care Evaluation of infant such as observe infant’s performance, behavior, social developments and physical health
  • Conduct assessment of infant’s abilities and progression
  • Ensure classroom, equipment and facilities are clean, well-maintained, safe and secure
  • Communication with parents on school’s activities and progress of infant
