Job summary

Aptiv is seeking an Engineering Assistant in the Quality department in Singapore to monitor first-time quality, drive improvements, and lead Material Review activities. You will generate quality standards, maintain documentation, and address customer complaints with data-driven problem solving.

The role involves supporting new production start-ups, performing audits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to prevent quality issues.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Science / Engineering with at least 1 year of working experience in quality (manufacturing/semiconductor).
• Experience with quality engineering tools; Six Sigma; quality system implementation (IATF 16949/ ISO 9000) is a plus.
• Good interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Proactive and enjoys solving challenges.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Able to perform OT on weekdays and/or weekends when required.
