Job description

What the role is:

As a Lecturer, your contributions go beyond teaching and facilitating learning. You will play a critical role in recognising and nurturing your students’ potential and their lifelong learning needs.

What you will be working on:

In addition to your teaching duties, you will carry out industry or consultancy projects to stay relevant in your profession and adapt to industry changes. Maintaining strong links with industry and educational institutions is essential. You will also have opportunities for industry attachments or experience regularly to update your skills, knowledge, and practices.

What we are looking for:

You should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in areas such as Travel & Tourism, Tourism or Hospitality Analytics, Leisure & Resort Management, Online Travel Agency or ticketing systems, Tourism Digital Transformation, Business Administration, Behavioural Insights, Experiential Marketing, MICE, Business or Market Intelligence, Social Media Strategy, and/or Technology. You should be capable of teaching in at least two of the following areas:

1) Customer Service & Relationship Management

2) Destination Geography

3) Reservation & Ticketing

4) Tour Planning & Operations

5) Attractions Operations

6) Clubs and Resorts Services

7) Data Analytics

8) New Media Marketing

9) Market & Artificial Intelligence

Candidates with relevant training and good presentation skills are preferred.

Those with substantial experience may be considered for Senior Lecturer or equivalent positions, with opportunities for career advancement into leadership roles within the Colleges or Headquarters.
