Job Responsibilities/ 工作职责

The position has a front row seat to impact our Razer Gold product. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner – Payments to lead the development and implementation of our payments track. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, design, and delivery of payment features that align with business objectives and customer needs. You will act as a bridge between stakeholders, development teams, and business units, ensuring the successful execution of initiatives that enhance our payments ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the payments landscape, combining strong technical acumen with business strategy expertise. You will be tasked with identifying market opportunities, setting priorities, and managing the end-to-end product lifecycle. This includes defining the product roadmap and ensuring features meet quality, scalability, and compliance standards.

You will collaborate with engineering, design, compliance, operations, and external partners to build innovative payment solutions that deliver exceptional user experiences. Leveraging data insights and industry trends, you will refine offerings to keep them competitive in a rapidly evolving landscape. This role is instrumental in shaping the future of our payments platform and driving its market success.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for the payments track, aligned with business goals and market trends.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and customer needs to inform strategy.
  • Gather and document requirements from stakeholders.
  • Prioritize features based on value, needs, and feasibility.
  • Maintain and groom the product backlog for clarity and alignment.
  • Define user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure quality.
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver features on time and within budget.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment with the overall product roadmap.
  • Work with legal and compliance teams to meet regulatory standards, including PSD2, PCI DSS, AML.
  • Understand payment methods and infrastructure, including APIs and services.
  • Track key performance metrics and use data to improve the product.
  • Identify optimization areas to enhance performance and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in product ownership or management, preferably in payments or fintech.
  • Strong knowledge of payment gateways, operations, and ecosystems.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Analytical, organized, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with payment methods and settlement processes.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks like PSD2 and PCI DSS.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-centric approach and passion for impactful solutions.
  • Experience in fast-paced, Agile environments.
  • Startup or entrepreneurial experience is a plus.
  • Experience in e-commerce & gaming industry is a plus.
