Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end APS implementation at a new plant, ensuring seamless transition and integration into business operations.
Collaborate with Digital Technology (DT), Supply Chain, Production, and Engineering teams to align APS configuration with operational requirements.
Define and maintain scheduling rules, production constraints, and best practices to maximize APS performance.
Configure and validate APS parameters, including Bill of Materials (BOM), tooling/gauges, lead times, lot sizing, and capacity constraints.
Monitor scheduling outputs, analyze discrepancies, and drive corrective actions.
Act as Subject Matter Expert for production scheduling, capacity planning, and inventory optimization.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and conduct APS system validation and optimization.
Provide training and support to end-users, driving strong change management and APS adoption across functions.
Serve as the liaison between functional users and technical teams, managing troubleshooting, enhancements, and system upgrades.
Update scheduling standards, procedures, and documentation, while coaching team members to drive a culture of operational excellence.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Master Scheduling, Production Planning, or Supply Chain Management.
Experience in aerospace, automotive, or high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments preferred.
Strong advantage for candidates with aerospace manufacturing experience, especially involving complex production flows and quality standards.
Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or PMP are highly preferred.
Hands-on experience in APS implementation (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, GanttPlan, Ortems) preferred.
Strong working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (especially SAP) and scheduling methodologies.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
