Job summary

A petrochemical company in Singapore is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer for a one-year contract. This hands-on position involves troubleshooting, maintenance, and reliability improvement of critical E&I systems at the plant. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering fields and have 3 to 7 years' experience in the chemical or petrochemical industries. Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years experience in E&I Engineering within chemical, petrochemical or oil & gas industries.
• Solid technical foundation in a maintenance role in electrical, instrumentation, controls.
• Willingness to support emergency call-outs and plant shutdown activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and optimization of electrical distribution systems.
• Support plant turnaround, shutdowns, and reliability improvement projects.
• Ensure safe and reliable performance of process instrumentation.
