Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager with a proven track record in the health/wellness or FMCG sector. In this role, you will wear two hats: driving our digital dominance through TikTok and Shopee livestream strategies, and expanding our physical footprint by placing OMY products in supermarkets and leading pharmacies.

You will also spearhead our international expansion and create buzz through strategic brand collaborations and offline events.

Key Responsibilities

1. E-commerce & Livestream Strategy (Shopee, TikTok, Lazada)

  • Take ownership of OMY’s sales performance on key marketplaces (Shopee, TikTok Shop, etc.).
  • Develop and execute a robust Livestreaming Strategy: manage hosts/creators, plan content calendars, script selling points, and analyze live metrics to maximize GMV (Gross Merchandise Value).
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize listing SEO, pricing, and bundles for mega-sale periods (11.11, 12.12, PayDay).

2. Offline Retail & Channel Expansion

  • Identify and secure listings with key offline retailers, including supermarkets, pharmacy chains (e.g., Watsons, Guardian), and boutique wellness stores.
  • Handle end-to-end B2B negotiations: trading terms, listing fees, margin structures, and inventory planning.
  • Maintain strong relationships with category managers to ensure premium shelf placement and promotional visibility.

3. Brand Partnerships & Collaborations

  • Scout and negotiate cross-brand collaborations (e.g., with fitness brands, healthy food outlets, or lifestyle products) to tap into new customer bases.
  • Manage influencer and KOL relationships to drive traffic to both online stores and offline pop-ups.

4. Global Market Expansion

  • Lead the strategy for entering new overseas markets.
  • Naviagate cross-border e-commerce logistics, local regulations for supplements, and market entry marketing strategies.

5. Event Planning & Activation

  • Plan and execute offline activation events, pop-up booths, and product launch parties to build community and brand awareness.
Requirements

Experience & Background:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Business Development, E-commerce Management, or Key Account Management, preferably within the Supplements, FMCG, or Beauty/Wellness industries.
  • Proven track record of successfully listing products in major offline retailers (Supermarkets/Pharmacies).
  • Deep understanding of the TikTok Shop and Shopee ecosystem, including livestream mechanics and affiliate marketing.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong Negotiation Skills: Ability to close deals with retail buyers and partners while protecting margins.
  • Digital Native: You are comfortable analyzing e-commerce dashboards and understand the nuances of social commerce.
  • Strategic & Hands-on: You can write a high-level annual strategy but are willing to roll up your sleeves to help set up an event booth or troubleshoot a livestream.
  • Cross-Border Knowledge: Familiarity with export processes or managing cross-border e-commerce stores is a strong advantage.
