Qualifications

• BA or BS in related field required.
• Approximately 2 years of public relations, marketing or related experience.
• Excellent writer with strong media relations skills.
• Works well under pressure and takes initiative.

Responsibilities

• Actively pitches media to secure client coverage.
• Regularly meet with media in-person for relationship building.
• Drafts press materials, client recommendations, award and executive speaking submissions, and bylines effectively and efficiently.
• Develops story angles, both planned and proactive, on behalf of clients.
• Directs and supports event logistics and execution, including on-site support for team and client.
• Oversees preparation and compilation of client and industry press clippings and client reports.
• Maintains excellent communication with team and client.
