Job description
Mission and Position headline

Lead the Central Business Services (CBS) organization, define & implement CBS strategy, standards & guidelines within area of responsibility. Oversee, organize & coordinate CBS operations including Contract Finance (CF), Order Entry & Logistics (OEL), Order to Cash (OTC), Process Excellence and Customer Experience (PECE), as well as relevant sub‑departments.

Support the DX APJ Head of Finance to design, establish & execute the APJ shared services model, including allocation & transfer of CBS activities to cost‑efficient locations across region.

Act as key member of global CBS function, integral part of Global CBS organization by engaging in strategic & tactical decision‑making for global CBS activities, enabling best‑practice sharing across global CBS structures.

Key tasks and responsibilities
  • Full accountability for CBS organization across assigned Zones & Countries, operational, cost & quality performance.
  • Enable Contract Lifecycle Management within Zones by ensuring CBS CF organization provides relevant, accurate, & timely contract performance data to Sales & Finance.
  • Optimize cost structure of CBS organization by driving process efficiencies & productivity improvements.
  • Proactively align with relevant Zone & Country Management on cost & quality performance trends & evolving business requirements.
  • Define & implement internal & external quality KPI framework in alignment with global CBS function.
  • Ensure delivery of agreed cost & quality KPIs for CBS organization.
  • Drive close alignment with relevant Zone & Country management to support business objectives.
  • Define & execute initiatives to continuously improve customer experience.
  • Provide timely & accurate contract performance data to Zones & Countries.
  • Initiate & drive process efficiency & productivity improvements across CBS operations.
  • Allocate & transition activities to lower‑cost countries, ensuring full compliance with local labor laws & employment regulations.
Qualifications and experience
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business management, SCM/Logistics, Finance or related field.
  • Proven leadership experience (12+ years) in Shared Services/GBS/CBS within complex, matrixed organization.
  • Hands‑on experience setting up, implementing & scaling global shared service models, including activity migration & operating model design.
  • Experience leading multi‑functional operations in Order to Cash, Contract Finance, Order Management & Process Excellence.
  • Strong background in Finance operations & or end‑to‑end commercial processes.
  • Regional/global experience, preferably in Asia Pacific within regulated industries (Medical Devices, Life Sciences, Healthcare).
  • Good understanding of DX business, operational/logistical processes, & contract structures.
  • Experience with process digitalization initiatives.
  • Basic understanding of ARE & legal entity requirements.
