Dutch Speaking Teacher Primary school

Part‑time (1 or 2 days per week)

We’re excited to invite a passionate Dutch Speaking Primary Teacher to join our team! In this role, you will inspire our youngest learners through engaging lessons in spelling, reading comprehension and mathematics all within the IPC framework. You’ll create a warm, positive and safe classroom environment where every child feels seen and supported. Collaboration is key at our school, and we’re looking for someone who enjoys working with colleagues to create a joyful and cohesive learning experience for our students

With over 100 years of experience, Holland International School offers excellent education for children aged 1.5 to 12 years old. Inspired by the International Primary Curriculum (IEYC & IPC), we offer both a Dutch Curriculum and British Curriculum to ensure children can look forward to a rich and engaging learning environment.

You have
  • You are a Dutch Speaking resident in Singapore and in possession of a valid work or residency status
  • At least a Bachelor's degree in education and are a qualified teacher with a strong focus on early years/lower primary education
  • Strong subject knowledge across the primary curriculum; experience of teaching the EIYC & IPC is an advantage
  • Ability to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, manage behaviour effectively and promote student engagement.
  • Flexibility to adapt teaching strategies based on individual student needs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
  • Good understanding of Google Workspace and ICT literate (Apple)
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, including the ability to engage in safe practices and undergo necessary checks.
  • A willingness to work collaboratively in a diverse and inclusive environment, promoting equity and respect for all students and staff.
Our offer

An employment contract starting 5 January, 2026. In addition to a competitive (hourly) salary, based on your experience and expertise, you will be entitled to a transportation allowance.
