Job summary

A printing services company in Singapore is seeking a skilled DTP Artist to prepare print files and conduct preflight checks. Candidates should be well-versed in Adobe software including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with at least 2 years of experience in offset printing. The role involves producing mock-ups and ensuring color accuracy. Overtime may be required based on workload.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a DTP Artist in Offset Printing.
• Knowledge of print file preparation and basic binding processes.
• Ability to conduct preflight checks and layout adjustments.

• Review and prepare print files ensuring high resolution, proper bleed, and correct formatting
• Conduct preflight checks, layout, and color separations as necessary to prepare files for production.
• Understand and execute the basic book binding processes.
• Produce and evaluate mock-up samples to check color accuracy against print requirements.
• Imposition software using Equios workflow (provide on-job training if not familiar with it

Required skills

• Knowledge and well versed in Adobe software; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Pitstop
• At least 2 years of relevant of working experience as DTP Artist in Offset Printing.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Able to work overtime when necessary.
