Job summary

PERFORMANCE ROTORS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an UAV Pilot with exceptional manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, and a calm demeanour to work with colleagues in industrial and defence contexts.

You will plan missions, conduct risk assessments, perform pre-flight checks, obtain permits, operate UAVs with sensors, analyze data, maintain logs, respond to emergencies, perform routine maintenance, train pilots, conduct flight tests, and gather user feedback for improvements.

• Ability to communicate clearly and work well with others in industrial/defence sectors.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with stake holders to understand UAV flight mission objectives.
• Planning flight paths and missions including risk assessments with Aviation Regulations and Fly-it-Safe practices.
• Conducting pre-flight inspections of the UAV and related equipment.
• Applying and securing permits and authorizations for UAV operations.
• Safely operating UAVs with onboard cameras and sensors to collect data.
• Processing and analysing collected data for reporting purposes.
• Maintaining accurate flight logs and data records.
• Responding to emergencies and malfunctions safely.
• Performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on UAVs.
• Keeping UAVs and equipment in good working order.
• Conduct UAV pilot training.
• Conduct UAV flight tests.
• Gathering end-user feedback for product/service improvements.
• Collaborating with engineering to address feedback.

Description

We're looking for someone with exceptional manual dexterity, superior eye-hand coordination, a calm demeanour when facing challenges, with a proven ability to communicate & work well with others in the Industrial and Defence Industries.

Responsibilities

• a) Communicating with stake holders to understand UAV flight mission objectives,


• b) Planning flight paths and missions including conducting risk assessments, to achieve mission objectives, with considerations of Aviation Regulations and Fly-it-Safe practices.


• c) Conducting pre-flight inspections of the UAV and associated equipment.


• d) Applying & securing all permits and authorizations necessary for UAV operations.


• e) Safe and skilful operations of UAV, including onboard cameras and sensors to collect data, images and readings.


• f) Processing and analysing collected data for reporting purposes.


• g) Maintaining accurate flight logs and data records.


• h) Responding to emergencies and malfunctions in a safe and effective manner.


• i) Performing routine maintenance, including troubleshooting and minor repairs on UAVs.
