1. Transportation

• Transport Goods: Drive company vehicles to transport materials, equipment, and goods between Bukom Island, client locations, and other warehouses, ensuring timely and safe deliveries.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the vehicle is in good condition, perform regular checks, and report any issues to the Senior Logistics Officer.
• Route Planning: Plan the most efficient routes for transport, considering the timing, traffic, and delivery deadlines.

2. Warehouse Support

• Material Handling: Assist in organizing, packing, and unloading materials at the warehouse, ensuring that all materials are handled safely and efficiently.
• Loading and Unloading: Load and unload materials into vehicles carefully, using appropriate equipment and techniques to avoid damage and injuries.
• Warehouse Organization: Assist in maintaining an organized warehouse, ensuring materials are stored correctly and can be easily accessed when needed.

3. Documentation

• Delivery Documentation: Ensure all transportation and delivery documents, such as delivery notes, shipping orders, and invoices, are accurately completed and delivered to clients or warehouses.
• Logbook Maintenance: Maintain a logbook to track all transportation activities, including trip details, delivery times, and vehicle conditions.
• Compliance with Regulatory Documentation: Ensure that all regulatory documentation, including permits and safety certificates, is up to date and properly filed.

4. Safety and Compliance

• HSE Compliance: Adhere to all HSE guidelines and safety procedures during transportation, ensuring safety for both the driver and materials.
• Vehicle Safety Standards: Ensure that all vehicles are operating within safety standards and that all necessary equipment (e.g., fire extinguishers, seat belts, PPE) is available and operational.
• Bukom Island Regulations: Follow strict safety and security protocols when operating within Bukom Island, a high‑risk, industrial area. Adhere to specific safety measures while handling hazardous materials or working in restricted zones.

5. Client Interaction

• Customer Communication: Act as a liaison between the company and clients, ensuring excellent customer service while delivering goods on time.
• Client Feedback: Gather client feedback during deliveries to ensure high service standards and report any concerns to the Senior Logistics Officer.

Requirements

• O-Level or Equivalent
• Valid Class 3 or 4 Driver’s License for driving company vehicles.
• 2–4 years of experience in warehouse operations and transportation, particularly in oil and gas environments.
• Experience in Bukom Island or similar industrial locations is preferred.
• Safe Driving Practices: In-depth knowledge of safe driving practices, particularly in hazardous environments such as Bukom Island.
• Warehouse Knowledge: Experience in assisting with warehouse functions, including material handling, packing, and organization.
• Documentation Skills: Ability to maintain accurate records of deliveries, inventory, and transportation activities.
• Time Management: Strong time management skills, with the ability to plan routes effectively and meet deadlines.
• HSE Awareness: Strong understanding of HSE regulations, particularly in the context of transportation and warehouse operations.
