Job summary

A healthcare facility in Singapore is seeking a dedicated driver to operate ambulances and vans. The role involves ensuring the safe transport of patients, staff, and goods while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and performing routine inspections. Candidates must have at least a Secondary education and a Class 3 driving licence with a strong driving record. The position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work rotating shifts.

Qualifications

  • Possess Class 3 driving licence with a good driving track record.
  • Minimum 2 years’ of experience in driving a van or other large vehicle.
  • Able to perform 3 rotating shifts and mortuary duties as required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications would be an advantage.
  • Able to perform 3 rotating shifts and mortuary duties as required.
  • Able to be certified in defensive driving course and CPR/AED usage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Job description

You will be responsible to drive the ambulance(s) and van in accordance to all road safety and traffic rules.

You will ensure the safe loading/unloading and transport of patients, staff, goods and equipment to and from designated locations.

You will perform duties pertaining to care and maintenance of the vehicles, including cleanliness and routine safety inspections to ensure the vehicles are in good working condition before use.
