Job summary

A maritime services company in Singapore is seeking a responsible driver to ferry harbour pilots safely and on time. The ideal candidate must hold a valid Class 3 or Class 3A driving licence, have a good driving record, and be willing to work shifts. Familiarity with local traffic regulations and port terminal routes is essential. This role includes vehicle maintenance responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 / Class 3A driving licence is required.
• Good driving record with relevant experience is essential.
• Willingness to perform shift work is mandatory.
• Possession of a Bus Driver’s Vocational Licence is advantageous.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for ferrying harbour pilots or other approved persons as assigned by the Mission Command Centre, safely and on time;
• Be updated regularly on, and to adhere to, LTA’s traffic regulations, prevailing road conditions and PSA Marine’s policies and regulations;
• Be familiar with berth locations in the port terminals and routes to and from these places;
• Ensure the proper running, use, care and cleanliness of the assigned vehicle.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Class 3 / Class 3A driving licence;
• Have a good driving record with relevant experience;
• Be willing to perform shift work;
• Possession of a Bus Driver’s Vocational Licence will be advantageous.
