Job summary

KAL CONSULTANCY PTE. LTD. is seeking a truck driver to ensure timely deliveries, plan routes, and perform routine vehicle maintenance. The role involves loading and unloading freight, coordinating with dispatch, and maintaining accurate delivery records.

You will adhere to safety regulations, handle paperwork such as bills of lading, and maintain a clean cab and cargo area while contributing to professional client interactions. Weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Planning routes and travel schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods and cargo.
• Conducting vehicle maintenance checks to ensure trucks are in good operating condition.
• Loading and unloading freight using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Following traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
• Communicating with dispatchers and other staff members to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules.
• Keeping accurate records of trucking activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
• Interacting with clients, vendors, and other staff members professionally and courteously.
• Completing required paperwork and documentation, such as bills of lading and delivery receipts.
• Handling unexpected situations, such as traffic delays or mechanical problems, calmly and efficiently.
• Maintaining a clean and organised truck cab and cargo area.
• Do general work and willing to work during the weekends
