Efficiently plan and schedule deliveries and collections of products.
Choose the most optimal route for timely and effective deliveries.
Ensure products are loaded in the correct sequence for the journey.
Confirm the correct products are delivered or collected from warehouses/terminals, in line with company and customer specifications.
Handle products properly during transportation to maintain their integrity and safety.
Conduct daily checks on the vehicle to ensure it is roadworthy.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspect safety equipment, including fire extinguishers.
Check the validity of important documents (e.g., MSDC, SCDF License, road tax).
Follow strict safety protocols when handling hazardous materials or chemical waste.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety helmet, goggles, vest, shoes, and gloves.
Maintain cleanliness in the truck/lorry and ensure proper storage of equipment like flexible hoses, whipped arrestors, barricades, and safety cones.
Ensure the site area is clean and equipment is stored safely after work completion.
Actively communicate with clients and customers to resolve any complaints.
Report delivery issues to the Operations Manager.
Obtain customers' signatures as proof of delivery.
Ensure all safety policies and procedures are strictly followed.
