Job summary

A leading marine transportation company in Singapore is seeking candidates for a driving position. Responsibilities include ferrying harbour pilots safely and adhering to traffic regulations. Ideal candidates should possess a Class 3/3A driving licence and a good driving record, and be willing to work shifts. A Bus Driver's Vocational Licence would be an advantage.

Qualifications

• Possess valid Class 3 / Class 3A driving licence.
• Possess good driving record with relevant experience.
• Be willing to perform shift work.
• Possess a Bus Driver’s Vocational Licence will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for ferrying harbour pilots or other approved persons safely and on time.
• Adhere to traffic regulations and PSA Marine’s policies.
• Be familiar with berth locations in the port terminals.
• Ensure the proper running and cleanliness of the assigned vehicle.

Job description

Candidates are expected to:-

• Be responsible for ferrying harbour pilots or other approved persons as assigned by the Mission Command Centre, safely and on time;
• Be updated regularly on, and to adhere to, LTA’s traffic regulations, prevailing road conditions and PSA Marine’s policies and regulations;
• Be familiar with berth locations in the port terminals and routes to and from these places; and
• Ensure the proper running, use, care and cleanliness of the assigned vehicle.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should:-

• Possess valid Class 3 / Class 3A driving licence;
• Possess good driving record with relevant experience;
• Be willing to perform shift work;
• Possess a Bus Driver’s Vocational Licence will be advantage.
