Job summary

KINGSFORCE MANAGEMENT SERVICES PTE LTD is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to design and generate control panel layouts and wiring schematics. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering and hands-on experience with EPLAN P8 Professional.

This role will involve drafting, project documentation, and collaboration with engineers, ensuring high-quality outputs and adherence to project schedules. The position is based in Central Singapore and offers a 5-day workweek.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in EPLAN P8 Professional (2.9 and above).
• Strong experience in Rittal cabinet layout design and wiring schematic development.
• Positive attitude with strong initiative and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design and generate PLC control panel layout and wiring schematic drawings.
• Develop control panel loop drawings based on customer requirements.
• Ensure timely completion of drafting deliverables according to project schedules.

About our client

Our client operates in the process and industrial plant engineering design and consultancy sector, supporting industries such as Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Petrochemical and Refining.

About the role

• Design and generate PLC control panel layout, panel outline, and wiring schematic drawings using EPLAN.
• Develop control panel loop drawings based on customer requirements using EPLAN software.
• Maintain and update project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Support drawing standardisation initiatives across projects to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Participate in internal hardware testing and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) activities for control panels when required.
• Ensure high-quality drawing output and proper integration with physical panel fabrication.
• Provide technical drafting support to project engineers and team members as required.
• Ensure timely completion of drafting deliverables according to project schedules.
• Develop and manage EPLAN libraries, including macros, symbols, forms, and reports.
• Perform any other duties assigned by immediate supervisor.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in EPLAN P8 Professional (2.9 and above).
• Strong experience in Rittal cabinet layout design and wiring schematic development.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and EPLAN drafting software.
• Good knowledge of IEC standards and NEMA/NEC codes.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of EPLAN Cogineer module is an advantage.
• Positive attitude with strong initiative and problem‑solving mindset.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Able to perform effectively in a fast‑paced project environment.
