Job summary

A construction services company in Singapore is seeking a qualified individual to generate technical drawings and collaborate with project managers and engineers. The ideal candidate should possess a diploma or degree in M&E or related fields, with proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM software. You will assist in design preparation and integrate BIM models with project disciplines. This role requires at least 1 year of experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of working experience required.
• Strong understanding of drafting techniques, standards, and symbols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Generate technical drawings according to engineering procedures.

Job Description:

• Responsible for generating technical drawings in accordance to Engineering Procedures.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders.
• Responsible for the preparation of the preliminary design sketches for projects.
• Assist in the coordination and integration of BIM Models with other project disciplines.
• Stay updated on industry trends, software updates, and best practices related to AutoCAD and BIM.
• Responsible for preparation of the final design, including the required drafting and specification.

Requirements:

• Minumum Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in M&E / Related fields
• At least 1 year of working experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD).
• Strong understanding of drafting techniques, standards, and symbols.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Preferably with prior experience in the construction/building industry
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice
