Job summary

Aqualis Group in Singapore is seeking an entry-level Engineer (Electrical/Electronics) to learn vessel design and DP systems, with guidance from our experienced team to perform assurance tasks on DP vessels.

You will engage in client visits, study industry guidance, and develop consultancy and project management skills; onshore/offshore assignments locally and internationally; based in the APAC region.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of Electrical/Electronic Engineering principles.
• Knowledge of HV/MV/LV AC/DC power generation and distribution, battery storage, drives, electronics, data networks.
• Ability to interpret manuals/drawings and produce VISIO or CAD diagrams.
• Experience with power system modelling or protection studies is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assurance tasks and audits on DP vessels and critical ship systems.
• Support electrical ship design projects and contribute to technical reviews.
• Learn industry guidance (IMO, MTS, OCIMF, IMCA) and apply it in projects.
• Develop consultancy skills including client management and project delivery.
• Undertake client visits, offshore and onshore, locally and internationally.
• Work toward IMCA DP Trials and Assurance Practitioner Accreditation.
