Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the security of the dormitory premises, including regular patrols and monitoring CCTV systems.
• Enforce dormitory rules and regulations to ensure a safe and harmonious living environment.
• Monitor access points and verify the identities of visitors, residents, and staff.
• Security checks are conducted at entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access.
• Respond promptly to any security-related incidents, emergencies, or alarms.
• Assist in crowd control during events or peak hours within the dormitory.
• Keep accurate logs of incidents and daily activities for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
• Liaise with emergency services (police, fire department, etc.) as necessary in the event of an incident.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid Security Officer License approved by the Singapore Police Force (PLRD).
• Completion of mandatory security courses (e.g., WSQ Certificate in Security).
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a security role, preferably within a dormitory or residential setting.
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with residents from diverse backgrounds.
• Physically fit to conduct routine patrols and respond to emergencies.
• Basic first aid knowledge and emergency response skills are an added advantage.
