Key Responsibilities
1. Operations & Facilities
- Update workers’ occupancy lists using Excel.
- Conduct regular room and facility inspections.
- Ensure cleanliness of all dormitory areas.
- Arrange and supervise repairs, cleaning, and maintenance work.
- Prepare rooms for new residents and brief them on dormitory rules.
- Check for unauthorized or illegal items.
- Ensure toilets, showers, and common facilities are in good working condition.
- Attend to residents’ feedback, queries, and daily issues.
2. Security & Safety
- Oversee dormitory security and act as the main escalation point.
- Enforce security policies, SOPs, and emergency procedures.
- Ensure CCTVs, EM locks, gantries, and access systems are functioning.
- Plan and supervise the security team for 24/7 coverage.
- Control visitor access and conduct bag checks when needed.
3. Surveillance & Monitoring
- Monitor CCTV and surveillance systems daily.
- Use video analytics to detect issues or suspicious activity.
4. Incident & Emergency Response
- Respond to and investigate incidents such as disputes, theft, or unauthorized access.
- Document all incidents and follow escalation procedures.
- Conduct fire drills and emergency exercises.
- Report security lapses and recommend improvements.
5. Compliance & Authorities
- Ensure compliance with MOM, FEDA, MOH, and licensing requirements.
- Liaise with police, emergency services, and relevant agencies when needed.
- Maintain documentation for audits and inspections.
6. Reporting
- Submit regular reports to Managements.
- Document drills, emergency responses, and policy breaches.
