Qualifications

• Singapore-qualified lawyer with 0–5 years PQE; strong interest or experience in Singapore Court litigation, arbitration and/or mediation.
• Demonstrated ability in legal research, analysis, drafting, advocacy, commercial awareness and client communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with sound judgment and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive legal research on Singapore statutes, case law and arbitration rules.
• Draft pleadings, statements of claim, witness statements and arbitration submissions.
• Prepare evidentiary bundles and liaise with experts and counter-parties.
• Attend court, arbitration and mediation hearings, often with senior counsel.
• Advise clients on procedural strategy, risk assessment and possible settlements.
