Responsibilities

  • Assist in basic food preparation (washing, cutting, portioning ingredients).
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations.
  • Receive, check, and store kitchen supplies and ingredients.
  • Ensure hygiene and food safety standards are followed at all times.
  • Assist chefs in cooking and serving during peak hours.
  • Dispose of waste properly and keep storage areas organized.
  • Perform other duties assigned by Head Chef / Assistant Chef.
  • Wash and clean dishes, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently.
  • Remove food scraps and grease before washing.
  • Organise and store items in the designated area.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dishwashing area.
  • Clear and dispose of waste according to safety and hygiene standards.
  • Assist in stock arrangement and refilling of kitchen supplies.
  • Support kitchen staff and chefs in daily operations.
