Job summary

A local restaurant in Singapore is looking for a kitchen worker to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils and other kitchen equipment
• Ensure all items are stored in their proper places after cleaning
• Maintain dishwashing area, sinks and floor clean and organized
• Dispose of kitchen waste and garbage appropriately
• Report any faulty or damaged equipment to the supervisor promptly
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards in a Halal kitchen environment
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company

Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus
• Physically fit; able to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads
• Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Able to work on weekend/public holiday
• Monday to Friday 0900hrs - 1800hrs and Saturday 0900hrs - 1300hrs
