Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations of the home and two centres, coordinating staff and caregiver efforts to implement program plans effectively.
  • Schedule program activities and collaborate with support services to enhance client experiences in recreation and therapy.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal procedures while maintaining quality care for clients.
  • Prepare reports, maintain records, and oversee correspondence related to operations.
  • Conduct quarterly meetings for the disabilities care committee to align goals and evaluate progress.
  • Assess budgetary needs, prepare annual financial submissions, and monitor spending to stay within approved limits.
  • Evaluate employee performance and identify staff development needs to promote team effectiveness.
  • Act as a liaison between funding bodies, community partners, and educational programs.
  • Select and assign staff while ensuring equitable employment practices in hiring and promotions.
Requirements
