Overview

Our client is an international freight and shipping company. They are currently looking for an Assistant Manager/Director of Regional Sales to join their expanding team.

Responsibilities
  • Generating new client sales, building and managing relationships
  • Building and maintaining agent relationships
  • Familiarizing with and promoting Santovas complete range of client solutions
  • Understanding and establishing trade lanes between international offices (SE Asia to Europe, Africa, USA, etc.)
  • Statistical analysis and reporting of volumes and trade lanes
  • Developing business strategies and analyzing market trends to stay competitive and explore new growth avenues
  • Mentoring new team members
Requirements
  • Qualification - Matric or undergraduate
  • Minimum 8-12 years experience in Logistics
  • Proficiency in sales, including generating new client leads, cold calling, etc.
  • Knowledgeable in Imports, Exports, General Logistics, Warehousing, Customs, and Rate Understanding
  • Proficient in Seafreight and Airfreight operations (Importing and Exporting), Consolidations, and Negotiations
  • Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook (report pulling and understanding, including tables and graphs)
  • Internet usage for research and understanding
