Job Title: Finance Director/Senior Manager

Reports To: Group CFO / Vice-President, Group Finance

Department: Group Finance

Job Summary: We are seeking a high‑calibre Finance Director/Senior Manager to assume a key financial leadership position in our paint manufacturing group. This executive role is responsible to support the full spectrum of the finance function across multiple business units, including financial planning and analysis, finance business partnering as well as digitalisation in our Indonesian organisation.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in IFRS/IAS, financial reporting and analysis as well as financial systems, particularly SAP (FI/CO) and IBM Cognos.

Key Responsibilities
Group Financial Control & Reporting & Analysis
  • Support the preparation, consolidation, and review of financial statements in compliance with IFRS/IAS.
  • Ensure robust governance, internal controls and audit readiness.
  • Provide actionable financial analysis and insights to management for decision‑making and performance improvement.
  • Perform in-depth financial analysis across all areas of the organisation, including revenue drivers, margins, operating expenses, working capital, cash performance, balance‑sheet quality, and overall business productivity.
  • Establish and refine KPIs to measure and improve process efficiency across logistics, production, sales operations, and sales‑campaign effectiveness, ensuring clear visibility on performance and improvement opportunities.
  • Continuously improve financial metrics, reporting quality, and analysis processes.
Budgeting, Costing & Performance Management
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cost management processes.
  • Drive plant‑level financial performance analysis, including raw material costing and margin optimisation.
  • Implement KPIs to track and improve financial and operational results.
Systems & Digital Transformation
  • Enhance financial processes through effective use of SAP (FI/CO, MM, PP) and IBM Cognos.
  • Lead digitalisation initiatives in finance department and beyond, process automation, and real‑time dashboard reporting.
Strategic Financial Leadership
  • Support the Group’s financial strategy, focusing on growth, profitability, and working‑capital efficiency.
  • Partner with senior leadership in Indonesia to support commercial decisions, operational improvements, and major projects.
  • Contribute to corporate strategy, investment decisions, and organisational development initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline (Master’s or MBA preferred).
  • Fully qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 10 years of senior finance experience, ideally in manufacturing; experience in paint, coatings, or chemicals is an advantage.
  • Strong technical expertise in IFRS/IAS, tax compliance, and treasury.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP (FI/CO) and IBM Cognos.
  • Proven leadership capability with excellent stakeholder‑management and communication skills.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written Bahasa Indonesia.
  • While this role will be based out of Singapore, it requires frequent travel (~50%) to Jakarta, Indonesia.
