Flex is seeking a Director, Operations Engineering to lead day-to-day operations in Batam, Indonesia, reporting to the General Manager and driving operational excellence across critical functions.

You will oversee production, planning, manufacturing engineering, maintenance and logistics, define financial goals, and shape HR strategies to recruit and retain a high‑caliber workforce, while partnering with executives and key customers on strategic plans and reviews.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of management experience in relevant industries.

• Production and delivery in full, on time, and in specifications required by customers, at the most competitive cost.
• Define operational financial goals.
• Operational business experience including a successful performance track record managing staff and P&L.
• Establish and communicate Business Unit goals and assignments.
• Define and execute operational programs in line with strategic plans and annual operating goals.
• Meet with Executive Business at least monthly to review and evaluate KOI's.
• Attend quarterly business reviews with key customers.
• Direct and control activities on purchasing, production control, planning, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, maintenance, manufacturing and logistics.
• Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Director, Operations Engineering located in Batam, Indonesia. The Director, Operations Engineering reports to the General Manager and is responsible for managing day‑to‑day operations and core functions of operations in order to achieve and maintain operational excellence.
