A leading global provider of risk assessment solutions is seeking a Director of Trade Compliance (Logistic) to shape the future of trade screening within their Financial Crimes Compliance business. This influential role offers you the opportunity to drive commercial and product direction for trade compliance solutions on a worldwide scale, partnering with senior stakeholders across multiple functions.

What you’ll do:

As a Director of Trade Compliance (Logistic), you will be responsible for shaping the commercial direction of trade screening solutions globally.

  • Collaborate closely with Product and Data teams to develop strategic roadmaps and robust business cases for investments in Trade Screening solutions.
  • Deliver insightful market analysis, competitive intelligence, and updates on regulatory trends to inform organisational strategy and enhance knowledge sharing.
  • Take ownership of the Trade business profit and loss statement, driving portfolio growth with a strong emphasis on improving customer experience.
  • Lead strategic pricing initiatives and Go‑To‑Market strategies designed to unlock significant value for both the business and its customers.
  • Conduct regular reviews with senior leadership to report on progress against strategic objectives, key outcomes, and milestone achievements.
  • Align regional execution with overarching global strategy through effective collaboration with regional teams across multiple geographies.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend mergers, acquisitions, or partnership opportunities that align with the broader Financial Crimes Compliance strategy.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and analyst briefings to provide thought leadership and raise the profile of trade compliance solutions.
What you bring:

To excel as a Director of Trade Compliance (Logistic), you will bring deep expertise in financial crimes compliance alongside substantial experience in strategic planning roles.

  • Extensive experience (10+ years preferred) in Financial Crimes Compliance or related fields within risk management environments.
  • Proven background (5+ years) in management consulting, commercial strategy, product strategy, corporate strategy, or strategic planning roles; direct experience in trade compliance screening is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing transformational corporate or product strategies within global or cross-functional contexts.
  • Strong track record of managing profit and loss statements and driving sustainable portfolio growth.
  • Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting at public forums or industry events considered advantageous.
  • Business degree (BBA/MBA) or analytical/engineering qualifications are preferred for this position.
  • Ability to deliver market insights and competitive intelligence that inform high‑level organisational decisions.
  • Experience collaborating effectively across product development, sales, marketing, legal, and operations functions.
  • Capacity to identify strategic partnership opportunities that align with long‑term business objectives.
