Qualifications

• Experience as an Operations Director or similar senior leadership role.
• Minimum 12 years of related experience with progressive management responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or Supply Chain (MBA preferred).
• Proven ability to develop and implement operational policies and long-term workflow optimization programs.
• Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.

Summary of the Job:

The Operations Director provides the overall direction, guidance and a hands-on executor for all operational activities within the organization. This leadership role is responsible for maximizing the company's growth and profitability by managing all core operations functions. He/She will formulate strategic policies, optimize human and material resource utilization, and implement profitable short- and long-term programs to streamline workflows.

Job Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Direction: Provide overarching direction, guidance, and leadership to all operational activities within the organization.
• Operations & Workflow Optimization: Implement highly effective short- and long-term programs and processes designed to optimize daily workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and enhance productivity to drive on-time delivery and Cost optimization.
• Policy & Resource Planning: Formulate internal policies and strategically plan the allocation and use of materials, technology, and human resources.
• Purchasing Management: Optimize vendor relationships, negotiate high-value contracts, and secure the company’s supply chain infrastructure as per Commodities assigned.
• Financial & Cost Control: Oversee capital expenditure (CapEx) and operational (labor efficiency and material cost-effectiveness) spend strictly adhere to approved budgets, driving cost-containment measures without compromising quality or safety. Manage cash flow dynamics and track project profitability.
• Performance Monitoring: Review operational Key performance indexes regularly against established targets, analyze changing market conditions, and approve agile changes in plan directions when necessary.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with other departments to align goals, establish clear responsibilities, and execute company management objectives or initiatives to drive Continuous Improvements.
• Innovation & Customer Success: Partner Business System and Process department to identify and integrate new areas of technology to scale operations, while partnering Quality to continuously driving customer service efficiency to ship Products with Good Quality.
• Executive Reporting: Report directly to COO, presenting regular operational reports and escalating key business issues that require executive decisions.
• Operational Flexibility: The responsibilities listed above are not exhaustive. The employee is required to undertake any other duties or special projects assigned by management that fall within their capabilities and are necessary to support the operational and financial goals of the company.

Job Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience as an Operations Director, or a similar senior operations leadership role, preferably in Contract Manufacturing environment. Minimum 12 years of related experience required with several years of experience in increasingly responsible management position.
• Strategic Planning: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational policies and long-term workflow optimization programs.
• Leadership & Collaboration: Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and collaborate seamlessly across multiple departments.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze market conditions, evaluate performance data, and pivot strategic operational plans accordingly.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting formal reports to executive-level stakeholders.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Manufacturing, Operations Management, Supply Chain or a related field (MBA or relevant professional).
