Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning & Business Development
- Develop, refine, and execute the company’s corporate strategy and long-term growth roadmap.
- Lead the creation of comprehensive business plans, market analyses, and competitive assessments for pipeline assets and new business opportunities.
- Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships, licensing, and M&A opportunities to strengthen the company’s position in the biotech market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business objectives with scientific and product development goals.
2. Product Commercialization & Go-to-Market Strategy
- Oversee market entry strategies for biotech products and platforms, including pricing, reimbursement, and distribution models.
- Support the development of product value propositions and positioning strategies to maximize market impact.
- Work with marketing, clinical, and regulatory teams to ensure commercial readiness and alignment with industry standards.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform business decisions.
3. Fundraising & Investor Relations
- Develop and deliver fundraising strategies, including equity, venture, and strategic partnerships.
- Prepare investor presentations, financial models, and due diligence materials for potential investors.
- Build and maintain relationships with venture capital firms, institutional investors, and strategic partners in the biotech sector.
- Provide strategic input during negotiations to ensure optimal deal structures and long-term value creation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA or equivalent business qualification strongly preferred.
Experience:
- 8–12+ years of experience in business strategy, corporate development, or commercialization within the biotech or life sciences industry.
- Proven track record in fundraising, including venture capital, private equity, or strategic partnerships.
- Strong background in business planning, market analysis, and financial modeling.
- Experience with product commercialization and market access strategies in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or medical technology.
