A leading semiconductor company located in Singapore is seeking a Director of Administration to oversee and manage administrative operations of its headquarters. The successful candidate will have a strong background in administrative management, particularly in the semiconductor industry, with a proven track record of leadership in a multi-office environment. This role requires fluency in both English and Mandarin, as well as the ability to implement global administrative policies and ensure compliance with local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee and manage all administrative operations of the Singapore headquarters, including office management, facility maintenance, procurement, travel arrangements, and administrative support for senior leadership.
2. Develop, implement, and standardize global administrative policies, procedures, and workflows to ensure consistency and efficiency across overseas offices (e.g., China, Europe, US).
3. Lead cross-regional administrative coordination, including liaison with overseas office managers to address administrative challenges, monitor compliance with global standards, and optimize resource allocation.
4. Manage the administrative budget for the headquarters and provide guidance on budget control for overseas administrative teams.
5. Supervise a team of administrative staff, including performance management, training, and development to enhance team capability.
6. Collaborate with other departments (HR, Finance, Operations, Sales) to support corporate initiatives, events, and cross-functional projects.
7. Ensure compliance with local regulations in Singapore and relevant international administrative standards for overseas operations.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum 10 years of progressive administrative management experience, with at least 3 years in a headquarters-level leadership role (e.g., Director of Administration) overseeing multi-office operations.
3. Proven track record in the high-tech, semiconductor, or chip industry is mandatory.
4. Fluent in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written) – ability to communicate effectively with bilingual teams and stakeholders globally.
5. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive process optimization and operational efficiency.
6. Excellent organizational, coordination, and project management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
7. Familiarity with Singapore’s local administrative regulations and global administrative best practices.
