Job summary

MRI MOORES ROWLAND LLP in Singapore is seeking an experienced IT Audit Leader to direct engagements across IT governance, ITGC and cybersecurity. You will guide planning, execution and reporting, ensuring quality and timely delivery for a portfolio of clients.

Lead governance initiatives, advise on technology risk and data protection, and drive business development through client relationships and proposals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance or related discipline (CISA preferred).
• 15+ years of IT audit, technology risk, cybersecurity or related advisory experience with leadership shown.
• Strong knowledge of ITGC, application controls, governance and risk management.
• Experience leading complex IT audit engagements and managing key client relationships.
• Industrial background from financial/payments platforms is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication and business development skills.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee IT audit, IT risk and technology assurance engagements for a portfolio of clients.
• Provide strategic direction and technical leadership on IT governance, ITGC, app controls, cybersecurity and risk.
• Direct planning, execution and completion of IT audit engagements with quality and timeliness.
• Review and approve audit strategies, risk assessments, programs and final reports.
• Evaluate IT control environments and strengthen governance and internal controls.
• Advise on emerging technology risks, data protection and digital transformation.
• Manage relationships with clients and identify new engagement opportunities.
• Lead proposals, tenders and presentations for IT audit and advisory services.
• Oversee IT audit managers and team members, including performance and resource planning.
• Ensure engagements are staffed, budgeted and meet commercial and quality objectives.
• Collaborate with other assurance teams for integrated client solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee IT audit, IT risk and technology assurance engagements for a portfolio of clients.

• Provide strategic direction and technical leadership on IT governance, IT general controls (ITGC), application controls, cybersecurity and technology risks.

• Direct the planning, execution and completion of IT audit and assurance engagements, ensuring quality, timeliness and compliance with professional standards.

• Review and approve audit strategies, risk assessments, audit programs, working papers and final reports.

• Evaluate clients' IT control environments and provide recommendations to strengthen governance, risk management and internal controls.

• Advise clients on emerging technology risks, cybersecurity, data protection, digital transformation and IT governance matters.

• Manage and develop strong relationships with key clients and identify opportunities for new engagements and business development.

• Lead proposals, tenders and presentations for IT audit, technology risk and advisory services.

• Oversee and coach IT audit managers and team members, including performance management, technical development and resource planning.

• Ensure engagements are appropriately staffed, budgeted and managed to achieve commercial and quality objectives.

• Work closely with financial audit, risk advisory and other assurance teams to deliver integrated client solutions.

• Take responsibility for engagement quality, risk management and compliance with the firm's policies and professional standards.

• Contribute to the firm's IT audit methodology, technical guidance, training and service development.

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline such as CISA.

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in IT audit, technology risk, cybersecurity, internal audit or related advisory services, with proven leadership experience.

• Strong knowledge of ITGC, application controls, IT governance, cybersecurity and technology risk management.

• Experience in leading complex IT audit and assurance engagements and managing key client relationships.

• With strong industrial background preferably from financial and payment institutions, platform solutions.

• Strong leadership, communication, analytical and business development skills.

• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
