Job Summary

We are looking for a leader to oversee investor engagement across our Mainland China and Hong Kong markets. The Director will shape the regional investor narrative, manage relationships with key biotech-focused investors, and communicate scientific and financial updates clearly and credibly.

Roles and Responsibilities

Investor Relations & Engagement

• Build and manage strong relationships with institutional investors, biotech/healthcare funds, and sell-side analysts in the China and North Asia markets.
• Lead investor meetings, roadshows, conferences, and R&D-focused events.
• Represent Mirxes’ scientific, clinical, and commercial story with clarity and confidence.

Financial & Scientific Communications

• Prepare earnings materials, investor presentations, Q&A briefs, and pipeline updates in collaboration with Finance, R&D, Clinical, and Communications teams.
• Translate complex scientific and regulatory information into clear messages tailored for China’s investment community.
• Support communications around clinical milestones, data releases, partnerships, and product updates.

Market Insights & Advisory

• Monitor China’s biotech capital-market trends, policy shifts, and investor sentiment, brief senior leadership regularly.
• Provide investor-informed perspectives on company newsflow, strategic positioning, and competitive landscape.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure consistent and effective messaging across all channels.

Desired Skills and Competencies

• Strong experience in investor relations, healthcare equity research, or biotech capital markets, with significant exposure to Mainland China.
• Deep understanding of the biotech/healthcare ecosystem—drug development, clinical trials, regulatory pathways, and scientific communication.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Excellent written and spoken Mandarin required as there is regular liaison with counterparts in China.
• Skilled at simplifying complex scientific and financial information for diverse audiences.
• Comfortable working with senior executives and cross-functional scientific teams.
