COMMENTS BY COMPANY
  • Company is a pure shipowner who handles only Time Charter Parties and most contracts are long-termed ones. Thus, Candidate won’t handle any Voyage Charterers/Carriage of Goods by Bill of Lading contracts, especially SPOT playing in freight/hire market with us.
  • Our customers = Time Charterers are the first classed and leading ones in shipping industry, like oil or grain majors, or some of the world largest operators, which make our financial condition stable and where it is expected that Candidate can work steadily with relatively less being rushed.
  • Candidate sometimes must be responsible for 24/7 like in any other shipping companies.
  • The Technical Managers for assigned vessels are located in Singapore, Philippines and India, which Candidate would sometimes have to communicate day and night. However, in Singapore, he/she can make communication with the Managers face-to-face basis and ask anything anytime.
  • Basic experience of accounting/finance is preferable in performing shipowners’ duties. Hope Candidate has willingness to challenge in such new field, if they want to develop his/her skills (Very detailed ones are not required as Company will give him/her enough opportunities to catch up/learn as well as ships’ technical knowledge).
  • If Candidate has experience/skills in investment on large projects like purchasing/building/leasing real estate, plants or heavy machinery, arranging loans, derivatives, etc, he/she will be able to perform such skills very actively just keeping learning shipping knowledge and/or “customers’ map” as the essence in terms of investing could be said to be similar to that of ship owning business.
