Job summary

A leading educational organization in Singapore seeks a Curriculum Development Lead for a 2-year contract. The role involves spearheading curriculum design and evaluation for educational programs targeting Malay/Muslim students. Candidates should have a PhD in Curriculum & Instruction and substantial experience in curriculum review and leadership. This position requires strong project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. The work schedule includes weekdays and may involve weekends for event support.

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of relevant professional experience preferred.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Preferably had worked with two sub-school levels (Secondary and either Primary or Preschool).
  • Good understanding of youth, education and working landscapes.
  • Strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, design and develop curriculum materials for various educational programmes.
  • Review and evaluate existing curriculum materials and make necessary improvements.
  • Ensure team stays up to date with educational trends and best practices.
  • Set goals and performance standards for the team.
  • Mentor direct reports and provide feedback to support their development.
