The Direct Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling the company’s products and services directly to customers. This is a hands-on, target-driven role that involves identifying prospects, conducting sales presentations, closing deals, and building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Core Sales Activities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and reach out to potential customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, and events.
- Product Presentation & Demonstration: Conduct tailored product presentations and demonstrations to highlight the value and benefits to customers.
- Negotiation & Closing: Discuss pricing, contract terms, and proposals to successfully close sales deals.
- Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas.
Customer Relationship Management
- Understand Customer Needs: Engage customers to identify their needs, challenges, and buying motivations.
- Relationship Building: Maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure repeat business and sustained loyalty.
- Address Concerns: Manage customer objections and inquiries with professionalism and provide prompt resolution.
Reporting & Strategy
- Sales Administration: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Reporting: Prepare regular sales performance reports and share market insights with management.
- Market Awareness: Stay updated on product knowledge, competitors, and industry trends to refine sales strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and internal teams to align on lead‑generation efforts and sales initiatives.
